30 Days of Fun: Day 21

I had a day of errands, so I packed a picnic lunch and ate by the bridge. It made me realize how memorable it is to eat outside — I wonder why I do it so rarely.

This is July in San Francisco. Sometimes I miss sweltering summers in the valley, but it was lovely to have lunch in my sweater and watch the tourists (all of whom were shivering in shorts and San Francisco sweatshirts). I’m rarely more than fifteen minutes away from this view, and I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve picnicked here.
