  5. no matter how I feel when I begin, a nice long walk in nature ALWAYS makes me happy. oh! And finding one of my favorite lip balms when I really really need it. ( I hope I can still win, even though that is technically 2 things that make me happy!)

  15. One thing that always makes me happy is unpacking the felt stocking my mother made for me when I was a little girl each Christmas. Even though she is no longer with me, each year when I unpack it – it brings back so many happy memories of the Christmases we shared together.

  40. When I click the leash onto my dog’s collar and give her a section of the leash in her mouth so she can “help lead” and we head out for a walk–rain or shine, all is good.

  44. lots of things make me happy. in order to achieve a serious face splitting grin, i find that belting out “weekend in new england” at the top of my lungs does the trick every time.
