Giveaway: Mighty Summit Gift Bag

When we were pulling together gifts for the Mighty Summit, we set a few aside to give away. There will be Summit giveaways on Mighty Girl all this week, but this first one is a doozy. Here’s what’s up for grabs today:

Tieks by Gavrieli

I bought a pair of these perfect ultimate travel shoes a while back, and they’re one of my new favorite things. Tieks fold in half so you can stuff them in your purse, but the quality is amazing. They come in all sorts of candy colors and metallics — plus they pack flat and slip off easily when you’re heading through airport security. The winner gets to choose any pair for $135 and under. I recommend orange.

Photojojo’s Tokyo Dreamer Strap

I can’t believe how long it took me to replace my ugly, logoed camera strap. Photojojo’s Tokyo Dreamer strap really dresses up your camera, and even has a little pocket for extra memory cards or a lens cloth.

Lola Epiphanie Camera Bag by Maile Wilson

Maile was an attendee at this year’s Summit, and she brought along her bright Epiphanie camera bags. I use mine as my everyday purse and have finally stopped busting expensive lenses and gadgets by wrapping them in hand towels and shoving them into an un-padded purse. Now I can have my SLR, my flip, and my phone(s) with me without anything banging together and cracking or getting scratched by my keys.

And that’s it for today. Pretty good, huh? To enter to win, please leave a comment about something on your Life List.

Now for the fine print: Please only leave one comment, because it’s the nice thing to do, and also because multiple entries will be disqualified. I’ll use random.org to select the winner, and I’ll announce who won at the top of this post and in a separate post next Tuesday.

  1. I’ve just completed one, which was to see a movie put on by our local film society. It was lovely – they were running a film noir series – and now I have a membership. Next up this fall is to create my own signature cocktail.

  2. Learn another language. I know English and Spanish but I’ve always dreamed (really, since I was a wee kid) of being trilingual. I took a semester of Russian back in college … didn’t quite cut it. Some day!

  3. After plugging away at several multi-step items, and not documenting them (tsk, tsk), I finally knocked something off my list! I enjoyed a frozen concrete at Ted Drewes in St. Louis.

  4. To go to Disneyworld, baby! This is my ultimate goal right now. I have to wait for my younger son to get a little older before tackling a very long road trip, and a week away from home! Others will come in due time. Thanks for the opportunity!

  5. To have a beautiful, old farmhouse where my girls can run around in a huge, green yard and play with the dog they have been begging for.

  6. perhaps one of the most fun items on my life list is that I want to learn to double dutch. I always wanted to go to double dutch camp as a kid (I loved jump roping), and my parents always said no. you’re never too old, right?

  7. I have not completed an ueber-list yet, but I got started on a piece of paper and then misplaced it. A few weeks later my parents were visiting and my husband handed me a piece of printer paper with my list, among which were some earnest and explicit post-baby sex-life goals. Apparently he had found it while cleaning up for my parents arrival. Item now checked off!

  8. One of the items on my Life list is to visit 11 new places in 2011, whether it be in the US or abroad. First place on the list is Hawaii. oh and ah, another item is to lose 50lbs

I think Lola would look nice there.

  9. To create and finish a photo documentary. I’m so busy with work, I’ve left no room for my creative outlets. My room is filled with half finished paintings and my mac is filled with un-edited photos. It’s time to dedicate myself to a good project.

  11. On my Life List: Get the hubs to Europe one of these days. I’ve been to Europe without him, backpacking and staying in hostels. I’d like to stay in actual hotels this time, take more photos, and enjoy London, Paris, Barcelona with him.

  12. I would love to spend 6 months traveling, visiting all of the far away places whose images fill my head, taking pictures and writing poetry along the way, and just simply enjoy the people, the places, and the magic of each and every destination.
