Gift Guides

21st November 2006

I just finished a couple of gift guides for Mighty Goods. Check out the Covet Gift Guide for luxury gifts, and the Holiday Gift Guide for unique, mid-range presents.

I apologize for mentioning holiday shopping before we’ve even cleared Thanksgiving. I hope you’ll forgive me the indiscretion, as early guides make it possible for you to pour a glass of wine, order all of your presents without fear of rush fees or shipping delays, and use the hours of shopping time you’ve saved to pour yourself a few more glasses of wine.

I have a question regarding an order I made for your Mighty Girl t-shirt… how would I get in contact with you?

I love shopping for and giving gifts, but lordy knows I’m wholeheartedly for anything that helps me with my holiday shopping. Viva la gift guide! (Or something like that.)

Also, I’m Canadian, and we conveniently got Thanksgiving out of the way a month ago. Heh.

ALSO, speaking of Mighty Girl tees, I just got the one I ordered (as a Christmas gift for a friend, coincidentally) in the mail, and it is awesome. It makes me laugh every time I look at it.

i prefer to pour the wine now… and just rush shipment 2 days prior to the big day. if i feel stressed, i just drink more wine. genius, really.

I’m so excited about Christmas that, really, there was there was no indiscretion on your part! I am absolutly in love with the White Gold Diamond Bangle Bracelet. It is so simple and beautiful, good call.

I also ordered the shirt as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately I received the book instead. While I love the book (I’ve read it previously and enjoyed it tremendously), it doesn’t quite suit the person I was hoping to give the t-shirt to!

There is no contact or order information in the package or on the enveloppe and I would very much like to get this resolved before it’s too late for Christmas. How do I get a hold of you, Maggie?

I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much I enjoy Mighty Goods. We have a bro and sis and NEPHEW (he is brand new!) in Sydney and I have found so many nifty things for pa, ma and bebe. Not to mention my new favorite tea mug. So, um, thanks for that and thanks for this early link.
    Cheers!

I love your gift guides! I hate shopping more than any other activity (seriously, I’d rather scrub the toilet) so online shopping for christmas is a must. You rock.

Thanks Tammy, I’ve emailed them twice at MightyGoods.com since Monday and have yet to hear from anyone. Guess I’ll just keep prayin’! :)

Like Janelle, I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone too, through various avenues, as my book still hasn’t arrived, even though I pre-ordered it! I hate to have to put my query through the comments like this, but I’m not getting any response any other way!

Could you please contact me immediately at the e-mail address above? We’re trying to reach you for a possible interview for this Sunday’s “Weekend Edition” on NPR. I apologize for clouding the blogosphere with my post…

    Hi Maggie,

I was drawn rather unexpectedly to this medium you helped pioneer sometime last year, several months before I quit a job at the Associated Press to join the Army. Don’t ask! I suppose I was just hankering for an adventure.

Anyway, the reason I’m writing is, I’d like to expand readership of my blog, which I put a lot of effort into. I hear you’re one of the contributors to Google’s “Blogs of Note” feature. I’m hoping you can give my blog a little boost. Of course, even a mention on your own blog would be delightful!

    Thanks!

    Leon

Maggie! I hate to be the one to say it, but thirty days has November. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, but please post something soon. I need respite from my workplace ennui!
