Holy heck. I just realized this song I’ve been listening to non-stop is so a YOU song! Not that I know you for real or anything, but my gut tells me you are going to dig this one. It’s “Battez Vous” by Brigitte. Do you know it already? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDchKlVQZ4A

(I love it all, but the end part is the best. You’ll know it when you hear it.)

Do you wanna dance by Bette Midler. I can’t stop listening to this song right now. A dancer danced to it on SYTYCD and I’ve been crushing it on it ever since.
I also LOVE Hold On by Alabama Shakes. I didn’t realize it was a woman singing until I watched the video on youtube. She has a voice like a bluesy, rocksy Nina Simone.
Have a great weekend! Good girlfriend time is always a great cure for the blues.

If you like Cake, You part the waters is a great song to scream the lyrics to at the top of your voice after a break up.

Funny, I’ve been listening to Die Antwoord as well! They performed at the Rock Werchter Festival (in Belgium) and did the most hilarious cover I’ve ever heard, of Enya’s Orinoco Flow. They just added a whole lot of ‘motherf*ckers’ (which, in itself, is not such a funny word). I.e., ‘Sail Away’ became ‘Sail away motherf*ckers’. Repeated ad infinite. I admit, it was a freakshow, but you know, still kind of funny.
