All I have to say is: Good for you, Maggie!
I saw this in DC in May- the hat is surprisingly moving.
Lovely. I’ve read that the Dalai Lama said when asked: “Kindness is my religion”
I love this man! If he were alive today I would even give him my anti-depressants!
That reminds me of a quote I’ve always loved:
“The world is my country,
all mankind are my brethren,
and to do good is my religion.”
? Thomas Paine
I am a big Abraham Lincoln fan as well. Of course, being from IL, you tend to become one of those. His Presidential museum in Springfield is amazing, you must check it out if you are ever there.
Love the quote and the Leibowitz exhibit/book comes out next month, I’m sure it’s gorgeous…
