Seattle photographer Chrissie White is 17, and the photo above was not Photoshopped. With all the smoke and mirrors we can choose to create dreamscapes now, it’s easy to forget about just having your friend jump on the bed until you get the shot.

I know from experience it takes a lot of bed-jumping shots to get one that’s just right (and doesn’t show your Spanx). 🙂

I haven’t visited her flickr feed in a while, but I remember a lot of discussion about photoshop techniques in the comments, so I know that she has/does photo edit sometimes. Would love to see an in-depth interview with her about her techniques to get shots without edits!

I used to work at AP, and I know the tech editor well – he would sniff a rat if there was post-production involved. I’m pretty impressed with her work at such a young age!
