So! The gift bags for the Federated Media cocktail party in New York were kind of jaw dropping thanks to a couple of good friends. Maile from Epiphanie Bags, the woman who did our family photoshoot, offered to give us a bunch of her camera bags:

Then our friends downstairs at Photojojo said they could get us some Fuji Instax Minis and film:

Are these gift bags ludicrous? Yes they are. Do you want one?
Leave a comment telling us something on your life list by Monday, August 30 at noon PST. Your comment enters you for a chance to win the Lola Epiphanie camerabag and Photojojo’s Fuji Instax Mini 25 Instant Camera. I hope you win, because I like you very much. Thanks for reading.
Now for the fine print: Please only leave one comment, because it’s the nice thing to do, and also because multiple entries will be disqualified. I’ll use random.org to select the winner, and I’ll announce who won at the top of this post and in a separate post on Monday.
I will finish my novel!

On my life list is a hot air balloon ride. This morning hot air balloons were flying over my house for a festival and my husband came outside with me to watch them. He said he thought that would be a lot of fun, which surprised me because he’s afraid of heights. I suggested we take a hot air balloon ride next year for my 30th birthday and he said ok.

I took the first step and made the life list (can I check this off my life list?). My 30th birthday is in 4 days – so it’s time to get serious. My list includes lots of travel and learning new things, but one of the first things I plan to do is record an interview with my grandmother (age 82) about her life.

Moving back to the Pacific Northwest with my boyfriend of 10 years has been on my life list for two years now, and we’re finally making it happen! We’ve put in our notice to vacate our overpriced apartment in California and can’t wait to acheive this goal!
Thank you, Ms. Mason, for bringing this ‘life list’ idea to the forefront for everyone. I’m sure you’ve heard before that the concept has changed many, many lives for the better. I’m about to realize a dream that’s been near and dear to me for quite some time. Bravo for encouraging us all to seize each and every day; you are quite the inspiration – professionally and as a person.
