So! The gift bags for the Federated Media cocktail party in New York were kind of jaw dropping thanks to a couple of good friends. Maile from Epiphanie Bags, the woman who did our family photoshoot, offered to give us a bunch of her camera bags:

Then our friends downstairs at Photojojo said they could get us some Fuji Instax Minis and film:

Are these gift bags ludicrous? Yes they are. Do you want one?
Leave a comment telling us something on your life list by Monday, August 30 at noon PST. Your comment enters you for a chance to win the Lola Epiphanie camerabag and Photojojo’s Fuji Instax Mini 25 Instant Camera. I hope you win, because I like you very much. Thanks for reading.
Now for the fine print: Please only leave one comment, because it’s the nice thing to do, and also because multiple entries will be disqualified. I’ll use random.org to select the winner, and I’ll announce who won at the top of this post and in a separate post on Monday.
Maggie, your blog is a constant source of inspiration for me–and not just your life list! I love your style and etiquette posts as well. But the life list is truly a fantastic concept, and I’ve slowly been developing mine. Here are three things, all centered around travel:
Go to Iceland and eat lamb (http://www.foodandwine.com/articles/iceland-heats-up)
Go to Mendoza, Argentina and tour the wineries
Go to Hawaii and watch the surfers

On of my life list items is to plan a vacation with just my husband, kids and me! We always take vacations to either visit his family (he’s from overseas) or go with mine somewhere more local. But I want to enjoy one of our very own!

On the top of my life list now are nesting items. I’m pregnant and can’t seem to get past it. So – knit a blanket for my daughter, sew a quilt for baby-to-be, and to purchase an original painting of something I love and find beautiful without worrying about the cost.

I want to swim to a waterfall! This life list item was prompted by our trip last year to Kauai, where there was a beautiful waterfall across a small pond – but I’ve never been a very strong swimmer, so I was too afraid to do it then. BUT, when we got back, I started taking swimming lessons, so next time, I’ll be ready. 🙂
