In the States, I’m pretty sure you can get arrested for neglect if you’re holding a cocktail this large within 100 feet of your child.
Such was the upside of vacationing in Mexico. The downside? Let’s talk about that later.
But seriously? Let’s talk about it at length.
Jealous! So very, very jealous!
They won’t arrest you in the US either. I’ve tested this extensively.
Welcome back. Sorry there’s so much down side to discuss, but looking forward to hearing about it.
Toddler? What toddler? I don’t see a toddler…
oh honey, i understand. i’m going to start a new blog this week just so i can be sure to have a place to vent about our time in the bahamas. i don’t want to be a downer, but there are downsides.
If you have a fruit basket floating in your drink, you’re doing just fine in Mexico.
Favorite place on earth.
mexico is like a cheap date.
Oh no, what happened? :/
ATTA GIRL!
Wow! Be careful that you don’t fall in! I hope you know how to swim…that thing is huge! :) And, I agree with a previous commenter…I don’t see a toddler in that photo! ;)
Toddler, I don’t see no stinking Toddler!! Try to have fun!
The only thing you are missing is a rim full of salt!
One of my most embarrassing moments is when I stopped at my local Irish themed pub for a quick Car Bomb, and having my then 11 year old son start chanting, “chug, chug, chug” while I drank it.
Next time I go drinking alone.
Sorry to hear there was a downside. But I gotta say I am eager to hear about it. The pictures are beautiful though.
That looks delicious…don’t worry, Mexican kids are born drinking tequila instead of milk!!!
Your kids are just a little behind but nothing to worry about…

maggie, since it is the first month of the new year, could you possibly write a post about goal setting – the way you do it, process, how you measure progress, etc.?
i’ve seen you mention it a number of times and would love the inspiration.
We’re headed there on Friday–two toddlers in tow–please do talk about the downsides before then. I want to know. And I don’t.

There is nothing wrong with drinking alcohol out of a glass that is larger than your head.
