Does it seem strange to anyone else that ribbon organizing has become a thing we think about?
On one hand, it could be a sign that things are going pretty damn well for us. We have so few worries that ribbon storage has made it onto our lists. Then again, it could be the household version of rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
Regardless, this is genius:
HAHA! It is odd! I could have used this post during election week, lol.

I saw those hangers recently in a Real Simple magazine. They used them to hang necklaces on. Brilliant!

If ribbon organizing’s wrong, then I don’t wanna be right.

alas, i wish i had time for organizing something other than rallies. i’m spending all my free time and money working for equal rights–the ca voters just took away my civil marriage rights. sigh.

I use old CD spindles, myself, kind of like this:

But with slots cut into the plastic shell for delivery. 🙂 Stackable, storable, no tangle, dust free storage! And SOMETHING to do with all those stupid empty spindles.

Ditto comment #4 by Spandrel Studios. And who has that much freakin’ ribbon? OH WAIT, my MIL does and she will probably NEVER be that organized. Yeah, I said it.

And I thought I was a genius for using a shoe organizer for ribbon. I so need to do this! (I have a, ahem, slight wrapping paper and ribbon addiction)

No, things are not going well. My college’s endowment is so tanked they sent the alumni an e-mail explaining they had to reduce staff by 10%. This is bad because I will soon graduate with my PhD and I doubt the job market. It’s also bad because my college is an important employer in a small town.
Ribbon organizers= whistling in the dark. Maybe I can find some ribbon organizer recipes on the internet, and if I can alter them for wire coat hangers. With the way things are going, I am going to need them.
