I’ve always wished I knew more about music, and this is part of my Life List project to listen to 1,000 new songs. Right now I’m up to 789, and on Fridays I share some of my new favorites. If you’d like to share some music with me, please send your picks to maggie at mighty girl dot com, and I will listen to them.

Little Bit of Feel Good from Jamie Lidell

Per my amazing husband’s music taste, I walked down the aisle to the #4 song here and we walked back up it together to the original by the Postal Service. 🙂

If it were technologically possible to wear out a song on iTunes, I’d have accomplished that with Iron and Wine’s Such Great Heights. Great list addition. 😉

We danced to that version of Such Great Heights at our wedding 5 years ago. Aaaaand then it was in a M&M’s commercial. I still love it though!

That version of Such Great Heights is one I can listen to over and over and over…. And the movie it came from isn’t too shabby either!

We also used Iron & Wine’s Such Great Heights during our wedding, when my husband and tiny wedding party walked down the aisle.
I walked down the aisle to an excerpt of “Jupiter”, from Gustav Holst’s “The Planets.”
6 years later and we STILL get comments on our wedding!

I know this is a very late reply, but I finally got through listening to all of these and it’s my favorite friday mixtape yet.
Acts of Man by Midlake has been on permanent repeat all day.
