Mighty Girl 
We were living in La Cruz (just north of Sayulita) for a few months and I took a beach day in Sayulita and fell in love with the Empanada lady. She’d bake them in her nearby house and then come out to the beach and sell them from a basket. She ran out of beef filling and she told me, “There are more in the oven, I’ll find you.” And then she did! Love!! Also, yummy. It’s on my list of places to go back to.

Oops – brain lapse. I meant Sayulita is North of La Cruz, not the other way around. Bah. And now I’m one of those people who has posted twice.
