    Love this one!

At this time of year in the Northeast I love listening to Josh Ritter’s Snow is Gone.

Some other great spring exuberance songs:
Sing You Sinners OR Born to Hum- Erin McKeown
Doomsday – Elvis Perkins in Dearland
Falling- Ben Kweller (one of the best songs ever)
Catch My Disease- Ben Lee (this will cure a bad mood ever time.)

    Ben Sollee:
The Prettiest Tree on the Mountain
    Panning for Gold
    It’s not Impossible

    Amos Lee:
    Skipping Stones

    Noah and The Whale:
    2 Atoms in a Molecule

Oh man, yes! I love Katie Herzig! Her entire album The Waking Sleep is great, but I especially love the song “Free My Mind”:

“My mind is like a heavy hand
Always making more of what really happened
A critical imagination always working over time…”

I also discovered a couple of great songs the other day on Songza’s “Sunshine Indie Pop” station (http://songza.com/discover/record_store_clerk/indie_music_that_s_not_too_weird/sunshine-indie-pop-songza/)

    Kangaroo Court by Capital Cities
In the Sun by She & Him
