These last few months flew by. Fortunately, I have friends who use their cameras. Heather covered Christmas and the Christmas-tree bonfire, and Jane got the most important New Year’s shot of all, my shoes.

Evan posted some photos of our wedding. I’ll eventually post some of ours too. Our photographer brought us 1,500 prints in one of those huge plastic bins one usually uses to store sweaters for winter. The thought of sorting through them gives me hives.

A lot of Heather’s photos and projects have a quality of wonder to them. They give you the feeling of having remembered something forgotten. She took most of the photos in our Polaroid guest book at the wedding, and some of them are so lovely you could cry. (Thank you, my sweet.) Some of my favorite stuff from her other work:
