Everyone’s Waiting by Missy Higgins

Everyone’s Waiting by Missy Higgins

You know what, while we’re here? Maybe just listen to her whole new album, which is called The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle. In particular:

Cooling of the Embers
If I’m Honest
Hello, Hello

It’s so rare for me to put an album on repeat anymore. What’s the most recent album you wore out?

    Missy Higgins! Yay!

The album I most recently wore all to nothing was Lost Lander’s “Drrt.” I think you would like it. Start with track one and work your way through — they’re all fantastic.

Also, if you buy a physical copy of the CD, the case turns into a mini planetarium! BEST.

Walk the Moon’s debut and Mat Kearney’s “Young Love” album. So, so good.

Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs. My CD now has blank spots. Rococo and Sprawl II (tracks 4 and 15!). My 3-year old demands “Regine” (track 15) on repeat and knows the words. I love hearing her sing in the backseat, “They heard me singing and they told me to stop / Quit these pretentious things and just punch the clock…”

Yay another aussie music artist in your track list! Missy rocks. Listen to her first album. I like ‘Scar’ and ‘The special two’.

Toro y Moi is on very heavy rotation here.

The last album I played on repeat was The Lumineers’. And now that I’ve downloaded Tegan and Sara’s new album, Heartthrob, I have a feeling it will get played a lot.

DJ Nu-Mark’s ‘Broken Sunlight’ and tUnE-yArDs ‘Whokill’ have been on repeat for me lately. Both are fantastic.
