Pescadero for me means a crab melt and some artichoke soup at Duarte’s. It’s a given when we’re in CA that a side trip to Pescadero and Duarte’s is part of the itinerary. SO GOOD.

Makes me miss California! (Used to live in Santa Cruz; now in Sydney, Australia). Pescadero also has an astonishingly amazing Mexican place – that gas station at the corner when you turn off Pescadro Creek Rd into the main road in town. Really, really good.

Isn’t olallieberry the best word to say? Just south of there is Swanton Berry Farm. You can pick Olallieberries in late June and make your OWN pie. The field is right on the ocean. It’s magical.
