Me: Is it a Brontosaurus?
Hank: Nooo.
Me: Is it a Stegosaurus?
Hank: No!
Me: Is it a Diplodocus?
Hank: No, Mooom! It’s a T-Rex!
Me: How do you know?
Hank: Because those other dinosaurs you named are herbivores.

Duh mom!
I love it when kids are into science. Wonderful!
Also, microscopic arms.
well, c’mon. you had to know it wasn’t a stegosaurus!
That’s a smart kid you got there.
And that’s me speechless.
Wow, how old is he?? Thats one smart kid you have there!!!
you must go watch the recent TED talk on dinosaurs! it will blow your (and your genius child’s) mind
I heart Hank Mason
It’s such a fantastic color.
Aw a little dinosaur geek. I’m working on turning my three girls into the biggest geeks I can (thank you Doctor Who). It will be my way to tamp down the dating in their teenage years
Yes I too have a 3.5 year old dinosaur scientist (if not a volcano or spaceship scientist – decision pending) and have taken to googling secretly on the side to find out which ones he is talking about. A good trick from the local toy shop owner is to use the Schlerich guide book as a way to identify the names (http://www.schleich-s.com/toys/prehistoric_animals/) love those dinosaurs!
Da-mn, kiddo! Sharp little fella.
Especially impressive because I think Brontosaurus and Diplodocus got renamed a while back….?
