Maggie, just so you know, all I could see was an ad in the box until I clicked over to comment. Though maybe it was just a fluke because now I see the video and it’s superfly. I am a fan of all things stormy. And my boyfriend just said, “Let’s move there.” Sigh.

Gasp! That was wonderful! Thanks for sharing, Maggie! I live in the Berkeley hills, and sometimes I’m lucky enough to get to watch it roll in but stay above it, and at night it looks like this crazy sea lit from underneath by city lights. Every time I try to capture the fog in a photograph to show people, I can never really get the full effect, but now I can just send a link to this video instead!

Breathtaking and a nice bit of calm in my hectic afternoon..thank you! What is the wonderful music in the background?
so magical! wouldn’t it be lovely if we could fast forward “the fog” when it passes over our heart..?
Breath-taking. I’m going to watch this every time the minutia in my day becomes all-consuming.
wild.
Every time you post about San Francisco, I am reminded how lucky I am to live here in the Bay.
And bonus! I actually work ON the bay on a boat! How awesome is that?!

Beautiful does not even begin to describe this! Thank you for sharing it. Am now missing my SF days!
i miss sf – even the fog.
Hate you a bit for this :) I moved out of SF 2 years ago and videos like this bring back to mind how much I miss it! Beautiful video!
Sort-of like meditation with my eyes open. Breathtaking, even though I was supposed to be breathing deeply.
What am I doing in the midwest again?
So beautiful! Thank you for sharing Maggie, it makes me feel closer to home.
Some days I wish I lived in a sunny area and then I catch an awesome view when it rolls in and I love it all over again. Thanks for sharing!
