Since you live in San Francisco, I just have to plug Eatwell farm, the CSA I’ve been subscribing to for about 5 years now. Their tomatoes are the B-E-S-T best: http://www.eatwell.com/.
That looks sooooo good. I want to rinse it off, pour some sea salt on it, and eat it like an apple. My mom grows tomatoes and she only lives about a mile away so I spend my summers eating juicy goodness. YUM.
we’ve been doing the same, along with purple spring onions and basil, which we toss with a little good olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, some good balsamic, and a light sprinkle of sea salt. so good.

Best investment you’ll ever make. De-lish. And like Claire said, it can serve the dual purpose of being a fruit for your list too!

We’ve been devouring them lately, too. They’re great sliced, with slices of brie on a pita and then broiled. It’s like a yummy little pizza.
Sliced, sprinkled with some coarse French Atlantic marsh salt. Mmmmmm….
And quite a wise investment in this dreadful economy.
I invest in red wine. Lots of it.

I trust you will invest again in August, their season…. They are good now, but nothing like they will be then.
