Anyway, she applied for an eBay award, a thing I don't really understand, beyond the fact that eBay gives money to people with good ideas and not much in the capital area so that they can buy things like laptops and software and printers and what-not. She got it! She now has a really awesome laptop and is no longer tied to our dial-up and is still really geeked out about getting it, since she just bought it Friday.
